Until a few years ago, I never realized what Zoophilia and Bestiality was, and the realism of its existance in society!!

This activity of "sexually abusing animals" is legal in several States, including Missouri, the one I live in!! Where I live, someone could RAPE my dog and further sexually abuse her, and that would be Legal with no penalties!! I have constructed this webpage in hopes to change this by making other people aware of this disturbing issue, its reality, and to launch a campaign to challenge our legislators to change the laws to make "animal sexual abuse" (bestiality) illegal in my home State of Missouri and the other States with no laws concerning this!!!

Back in May of 1998 the Jerry Springer show was going to air a show titled "I married a horse", a show about a zoophile and his sexual relations with his pony who this person calls his wife. The day before airing this show, the network was pursuaded to pull it and they did. However, this show was taped and currently released for sale and rental.
The Zoophile (Bestial Practitioner) on this Show was George Willard (aka Mark Mathews) who is also the Author of a Pro-Zoophile book titled "The Horseman: Obsessions of a Zoophile" (under a pen name of Mark Matthews). These book sellers will not allow their banners to be displayed on pornographic sites or sites that contain illegal content, but they will sell books that contain these materials!!
Yes, George Willard (aka Mark Mathews) resided in a small Southern Missouri Town called Carl Junction! George recently passed away on 8/28/1999, his website is now back online and maintained by a zoopile friend of his.
George lived in my home state of MISSOURI and even advocated his sexual relations with his pony named Pixel. He had even attached a special ramp onto his trailer, so she (Pixel) could go inside with him.
I'm sure George was just one of many people in a State like Missouri due to its lack of laws covering these immoral and disgusting acts of abuse towards animals and pets.
Also, in Missouri, there use to be a mail list on egroups called SWITHA (Sex With Animals), the moderator of this group was from the Union, MO area and even had picnics and other functions involving zoophiles in the St. Louis, MO area. (The Administration of E-Groups has since removed this list and many others due to their nature of promoting sexual animal abuse and bestiality pornography.)
Thanx to the help of another individual, you can now see the realism of the existance of those who avidly practice this abuse daily. There is even a USA based webserver based out of Conroe, Texas (www.zoophile.org) that dedicates their services for other zoophiles to freely advocate their "sexual abuse to animals". Yes, Texas is another state where Bestiality is legal, and like everything else in Texas ...... it is BIG there!! This server owned by a Conroe, TX resident was shut down for some time, but since has reopened.
In fact a Zoophile group in Northern California
(where these practices are illegal), called Calzoo (site now removed) claimed to have had hundreds of members. In even other States groups of these Zoophiles have gatherings (Zoocons or Hollow Zoo) where they bring animals such as Dogs, Horses, Ponies, Llamas, Sheep and others for week long parties of sexually sharing these innocent victims that have no say in their sexual torture by these zoophiles. Some of these Zoophiles on their sites even justify how these Animals give their consent to Humans for these sexual relations, and even claim to be "zoosexuals" and entitled to rights like homosexuals.

I am proud to announce that Representatives Hollingsworth and Hanaway with the help of the ASPCA and ASAIRS have for the third year in a row introduced legislation to criminalize bestiality.
This current Bill has already passed through the House and through a Senate Committee and only needs to pass out of committee onto the Seante Floor and be passed into law.
This new and improved Bill features a husbandry exclusion, mandated offender psychological evaluation/counseling and even offender animal ownership restrictions!!

Dear Honorable (Legislators name here),
As a humanitarian and pet owner, I would like to bring a disturbing issue to your attention.
Were you aware that in your state, there is no existing law criminalizing "Bestiality"? I do not know the full circumstances on "Why" your state lacks such a law, but in many other states the criminalization of bestiality was just simply overlooked when new criminal codes were enacted, or accidentally removed when sodomy laws were revised or removed from the Codes/Statutes.
The omission of such a law from your States Codes/Statutes may seem like a "minor" oversight to yourself and/or colleges, and you may think that such a law may not be important or just a "morality issue". However, you may want to research this issue and study it further!
Criminalization of Bestiality is very important, you may be unaware of facts and studies that show many repeat sexual offenders, such as rapist, child molesters, etc., have in fact first sexually victimized animals in their childhood or early adulthood. Their sexual abuse was first practiced on non-consenting and non-speaking animals prior to gaining the confidence to move upward to human victims, sometimes including children.
In an article ran by the St. Louis Riverfront Times, I can quote "half of a surveyed group of 116 sex offenders in northwest Missouri admitted to animal intercourse during their lives". ( http://www.rftstl.com/issues/1999-12-15/ray.html?elink ).
Also an article was published in Theoretical Criminology, 1997, vol.1, no.3, PP.317-340 by PIERS BEIRNE, a Professor of Criminology at the University of Southern Maine and the founding editor of the journal. This can also be viewed online at ( http://www.asairs.com/article.html ).
This above mentioned article addresses the need for intervention in this form of sexual practice and the criminal damage its practice imposes on society as a whole.
Many other similar studies have been completed and documented on this issue. Currently 27 states within the United States have laws to criminalize "Bestiality", some with penalties of up to 20 years imprisonment.
Even the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has addressed this issue through their "First Strike Team" and has a compilation of State Laws and penalties addressing this issue at ( http://www.hsus.org/current/state_laws.html ). Further documentation on the relation between violence to animals progressing to violence to humans at ( http://www.hsus.org/firststrike/factsheets/index.html ).
I can go into many further details on this issue including the growth of active practitioners involved in Bestiality due to Internet advocation of this behavior and practice being an acceptable form of a sexual preference or even lifestyle to some. After looking into this issue, I would like to ask that you consider sponsorship and introduction during your next legislative session for a new Bill or amendment to a current active Bill that would simply just criminalize this activity within your State. You may also want to consider the inclusion of "Psychological Intervention" for those who are later convicted and found guilty of this act. A Bill to criminalize Bestiality would be a great step in the intervention of potential future "repeat sexual offenders" by catching and identifying them in the "early" stages of their sexual predator patterns before they later progress to victimize humans and possible innocent children.
Also, there is a recovering Zoophile that is advocating against these activities and is the most knowledgable person concerning this form of abuse.
